Make Your Mark is an online t-shirt design competition
that gives Australian High School students (14-18yrs) the chance
to win $3,500 towards an overseas student exchange
trip + win heaps more. The best designs
will be chosen by ASICS to be printed.

Make Your Mark XIV is now on so get creative to
win some great prizes. Get started at the templates

The new theme for this competition is "Sportswear Derived from
Nature".
We are looking for a symbol or logo that can be used to brand sportswear
made with natural, sustainable and renewable resources. For example: wool,
bamboo, cotton, etc... resources that can easily be regrown. Please note that
this does not mean sporstwear made from recycled materials. You don't need to
incorporate the ASICS logo into the design, but if you do, please lift it from here.
Open your mind to the theme and analyse what it really means. Consider how
you're going to create a symbol or logo that visually represents nature and
which also represents the time and place to wear sporting apparel. What
meaningful symbols for nature, regrowth or sustainability can you come up with
that will look great on a t-shirt, not be too obscure or need explanation, and
which indicate that the item is sourced from sustainable material? Also note
the proviso that we're not talking about recycled materials - this comp is not
about PET bottle fabrics. It's about symbolising natural materials. It's about
representing a line of sportswear that doesn't exhaust resources. It's about
perpetuity.

First prize is $3,500 towards a Student Exchange Australia
Year Program, or $2,500 towards a Semester Program, or a laptop computer, and
a Lonely Planet guidebook.
2nd prize is $2,000 towards a Student Exchange Australia Year
program or $1,500 toward a Semester Program, and a product pack and a Lonely
Planet guidebook.
3rd prize is $1,500 towards a Student Exchange Australia Year
program or $1,000 toward a Semester Program, and a product pack and a Lonely
Planet guidebook.
The Top Ten finalists will each receive a product pack valued
at $300.

Being an exchange
student is a challenging, rewarding and fun experience. You're not a
tourist or a guest. You'll attend school and live with a host family.
You'll become immersed in the local community. Student Exchange
