Being an exchange student is a challenging, rewarding and fun experience. You're not a tourist or a guest. You'll attend school and live with a host family. You'll become immersed in the local community. Student Exchange Australia offers the following programs to Australian high school students between the ages of 15-18:

Summer Explorer Programs

Depart in November for 2 or 3 months Live with a volunteer host family Attend school Boost your language skills

Go to France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Canada and Denmark Gain independence and maturity Learn about another culture Be back in time to start school

Semester or Year Programs

Departures early or mid year Choose a semester or year away Live with a volunteer host family Attend school

Choose from 20 destinations Gain independence and maturity Learn about another culture Gain fluency in your chosen language

Over 35 scholarships valued between $1,500 - $3,500 are available this year.
