Concept statement
I love my friends as much as I love my food. Put them together and you get me at an Italian restaurant trying to eat pasta! My eyes are always bigger than my mouth so my pasta ended up on my top. This inspired me to design this t-shirt. It's messy, out there and would be an original fun thing to wear. Not only does this relate to the theme ‘taste’ but to the confusion of our society these days. The pasta represents confusion, and the meatballs represent people trying to free themselves.
Where in the world would you go to and why?
I would love to go to Italy.I haven’t been overseas before, but my parents have. They have showed me many photos and told many stories about the food, culture and sceneries that would inspire me to create more art work and give me a better out look on life.
Favourite stuff?
“I like to move, it move it!” Ha-ha I’m a very energetic girl that loves to dance, hang out with friends and family as well as doing all the usual stuff that teenagers do. Mmm chocolate and food! My favourite magazine is Chik and I also like to help out people where possible.
Three people you'd take to a desert island?
1) My little sister, Tiffany. – Even though we have our fights, this experience could bring us closer. She would keep me motivated too. 2) Russel Coight. – At least he thinks he knows how to survive in the wilderness! He’s also a funny guy that would keep the situation light. 3) Will Smith. - He can sing, dance, act and sure is a hottie!
What will you be doing in 10 years?
In ten years time I plan to work towards a career in Psychology and Art as well as have a family on the way.
Why should you win this competition?
I believe that I should win this competition so I can finally get past my own backyard fence! This way it can kick start my career and help me gain confidence in other parts of the world with new and interesting people.
