Concept statement
Inspiration: My cousin was playing with his transformer, then it dawned upon me transformers, they walk! Theme: Well, the number of cars and traffic are increasing day by day, which isn’t great for the environment. I suppose that if we have the time, it’d be nice just to take a walk, if the distance isn’t too far! I mean even those robots that change into cars go for walkies! : ) **Oh yes, I designed Mr. Robot, so no copyright breach...Yay! : )
Where in the world would you go to and why?
Well, I've always wanted to see the Angel Falls in South America to see if it really is that big for myself. The images that I've seen in books and on the tele really don't do it justice I believe, it'd be a real carthatic treat to see the waterfall in action, and if no one minds I wouldn't mind hurling a paper plane over the falls.
Favourite stuff?
I really enjoy chatting with my friends; playing the piano and of course like many other boys, some indulgence time with my Nintendo : ) If eating too much of it isn't detrimental to my health then Nestle CRUNCH bars are a definate favourite of mine. I am a sucker for anything Star Wars, and since I am on a sci-fi trend here I would say that Arthur C. Clark's 3001: Final Odyssey was the most insightful book that I have read : ). Though I'm not that old John Fogerty's Creedence Clearwater Revival's my musical cup of tea. *Phew~! I think that's it!
Three people you'd take to a desert island?
One of the iron chefs (doesn't matter who; culinary creativity), Bob Dylan (crisp sound, knows how to and handle heat) and... Luke Skywalker (many, many, potentially useful powers).
What will you be doing in 10 years?
Very hard to say, however I would love to write and play music in a band with my best friends.
Why should you win this competition?
Well since summer's just around the corner, to be honest I just want an orange t-shirt to wear! Actually, I am just happy to have got this far. This is actually my first attempt at designing something so I am ecstatic by the validation! Thanks for the votes people! I suppose a lot of hard work and deep thought went into this design. I was actually glad that I submitted the shirt on time! Regardless of whether or not this design recieves further merit, I reckon that the experience was great; I recieved insightful criticisms and praise from people that I haven't met before. The competition I believe was intense, and above all inspirational, and if I don't make it to the next round... well there's no shame in being beaten by the best!
