Concept statement
When I first started thinking about the theme ‘walk’, the first thing that came into my mind was the idea of ‘exploration’. In our history many great men like Sir Edmund Hillary got on their feet and ‘walked’ so to speak. They got on their feet and explored our wide world and the many great things that is has to offer us. In my design I have only covered half the globe with the Asics footprint as I believe there is still so much to be explored and discovered! I’d love to get out there and explore the world!
Where in the world would you go to and why?
Japan! I'd go for the amazing cultural experience and their technology, I don't think I'd wanna go home!
Favourite stuff?
I don’t really have many 'favorites' I just like anything really... I like food, watching & making movies, singing, drawing cars and reading about cars!!! I also love traveling!
Three people you'd take to a desert island?
Jaimie Oliver...mmmmm food! the whole cast of LOST as they appear to have experience in the whole 'desert island thing and Keira Knightley for obvious reasons ;)
What will you be doing in 10 years?
hmmmm.....hopefully i'd be an automotive designer for GM Holden Australia......hopefully!
Why should you win this competition?
well i guess it'd b awsome to walk up to someone wearing your own shirt! apart from that i dont really know y! Its been great to get into the top ten lol! ive never actually thought of 'winning' wining...

Student Exchange
