Concept statement

I wanted to take a metaphorical approach to the theme "passport" rather than stick to the literal meaning. I came up with the idea of the eyes being the passport to the heart. I've always loved the eyes and i think it's the best feature of a person. It is unique (well nearly) to everyone and it expresses thoughts feelings, emotions, personality,... By looking through someone's eyes, you can tell a lot about him/her. Their eyes are your passport to understanding and knowing them.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I would love to go to europe. It's a beautiful place with awsome architecture, great food, nice people and snow! What more can you ask for? i've never been to europe before so i'd love to go there to meet new people and explore new things.

Favourite stuff?

well there're too many but here's a few. i love music, though i can do nothing beside listening. I'd like with cool lyrics and a good beat. food... i love italian (another reason why europe's great) and, of course, chocolate (mm...belgium...). movies....i prefer comedy over horror, laughs are always funner than nightmares. in my spare time, i enjoy listening to music, TV, msn, internet,... like every other lazy teenagers. other than that i love drawing, design, graphic, photography, all the artsy stuff.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

hmm....well definitely my best friend/boyfriend for fun, humor, motivation and everything else (granted that he'd love to go with me to a desert island); an ingenious inventor to keep us alive and for all the convenience, then a cook to keep every1 full.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

well the plan is to win the lottery and go travel....but if that doesn't work out then i guess i'd be out of uni, working hard (hopefully with an architecture firm) and enjoying life with someone i love. the travelling can come some 50 years later.

Why should you win this competition?

i should win because i've put a lot of effort into perfecting this design...then i think most people here have. So i guess it'd be up to the quality and creativity of the design. I hope my design is good enough to satisfy the criteria with the different exploration of the theme, the bright colors and the unique style.
