Concept statement

Wow I never thought id make the finals! Well I heard of the competition when the new topic started and thought id try my hardest to make a design that worked. It was the first design submitted! =] With this design I tried to make something that stood out. The girl lost in music has a sound mind and her body is at peace, yet her mind will swirl and develop and imagine. My main ideas behind it was to never hold back your thoughts, let the world see them.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

Oh so many places! But I just love Japan for its culture, people, food and technology, the contrast in culture etc. Going there would highlight my life and fulfill a dream.

Favourite stuff?

I'm a passionate guitar player, and music is my relief from what could have been a hard day. Music makes my mind feel free and alive, so I tried my hardest to show that in my design.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Jamie Oliver so he could make me yummy food. Andy Mckee so I could listen to his guitar music. And John Howard so he can do my hard labour *evil laughs* =]

What will you be doing in 10 years?

I live my life by the day. 10 years could take me ANYWHERE!

Why should you win this competition?

Well I didn't win but in the end I never even expected to make the finals. It was a fun experience to try T-shirt designs and I might try again in the next comp. The designs that won definitely deserved it, but im happy I made the top 10 =]
