Concept statement

this shirt came out of me trying to brainstorm random ideas to come up with a really origional shirt. the final product is a whole lot of 'magical blubber chicken ducks' [what ever they are] (:. they are in a line like an army so i thaught of people running away from them. this idea is funny because they look so harmless, colourful and weird. i took a abstract view on the theme. (notice that the sun is like an egg, haha)

Where in the world would you go to and why?

if i chose to go somewhere besides the USA (that's where my exchange is to) i would go to Spinea in Itlay. i would go there because that's where my relatives live. i have only visited them once and i had the time of my life, it also has beautiful scenery and a facinating history.

Favourite stuff?

My favourite book/movie is 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' because it is ingenious and helarious. Being an Italian, I loooove pasta and paistries. Every week i read 'OK!' mag. (i think Hollywood and movie biz is interesting). My favourite item would have to be the rug that my great-grandma knitted me, because it is really warm and special.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

First of all I would take my best friend Lucia because we couldn't live without eachother, we're like sisters. Second, I would take the Genie from 'Aladin' so that we can have food, water, shelter etc. Last of all, I would take Leonardo DaVinci becuse he is an amasing inventor, historian, painter, sculpter etc. because he would inspire us and he would be such an interesting person to talk to. He could also teach my friend and I Italian so that when we go to Spinea, we are fluent in Italian. ha ha

What will you be doing in 10 years?

In ten years time, I will be travelling the world as a famous historian, hollywood director or carpenter, with my young family. na, that's my dream, i'll probably be a struggling director with carpentry on the side and a boyfriend. but that would still be cool.

Why should you win this competition?

I should win because i think that my top is funny and origional (i have never seen a top like it!). i also feel a little guilty that my parents are going to so much trouble for my exchange and this would make me and my parents happy. i also think that people will buy my shirt because it is so different, (it would look better on a different background though.
