Concept statement

It was a sheer coincidence that I had recently created a defunct school cross country squad crest at about the same time as MYM was winding up. The links between long distance running and Asics were very apparent; perhaps my own experiences have shaped the design (I swear by Asics shoes by the way)

Where in the world would you go to and why?

While I have considered the typical antipodean course , I would be keen to sojourn parts of Europe because of my genealogy (family ancestry) and because the graphic design/fashion scene is bustling with creativity.

Favourite stuff?

Love design, i.e. photoshop, (film) photography, screenprinting and other funky art mediums...I also dig my sport and exercise whether it be golf, tennis or running.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Funny how Disney's genie comes to mind (Coincidence that others have put him down too) so for obvious reasons I'd take 'Aladdin's' Genie firstly. The other two spots would be reserved for Matt Lucas and David Walliams of 'Little Britain' fame.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Wish I knew myself...I just want to enjoy whatever it is

Why should you win this competition?

Well, my opinion of the shirts will clearly be biased...so I cannot think of anything other than to offer Asics/other Affiliates a marketable design, whilst having the opportunity of a lifetime on an international program.
