Concept statement

For this certain design, i decided to come up with something that was more wearable in todays youths fashion, and focus more on the advertisement of Asics rather than the topic of "Run". This design I actually came up with just for fun and tried applying a style that i was more familiar with.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

THeres so many to choose from but it would most likely certain parts of Europe. Europe is filled with great design and fashion (like Melbourne =P) and would be of great inspiration.

Favourite stuff?

item: ipod, computer, basketball, saxophone person: EVERYONE!! food: im sort of stuck in this whole kebab/souvlaki phase right now.. movie: too manyy!! mag: Computer arts Magazine.. BEST READ music: funk and old skool all the way

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

1st person: a professional butler, who is an expert in all fields possible. Such as serving, cleaning, cooking, entertaining and even building so that he can make me a nice hut for me to chill in. He would also have the expertise and knowledge on being a pilot. So that he can spot our exact location and ship ALLL of my friends and EVERYTHING i want to the island and throw an AWESOME PARTY!!! 2nd + 3rd person: I wouldn't need to worry about that as i can bring anyone i want!!!

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Hopefully I'll be sitting on a computer, in my own office, in my own small studio, with my best mates, in the heart of the city, designing for all the big names.

Why should you win this competition?

Well to me winning isn't really important anymore. I feel that it is an honor and a "prize" in itself, to have been mentioned with 10 of the best candidates in design. After all, the real reason why i entered this competition, wasn't to win, but to do what i love, which is design. And really do it for fun among all the other people my age who love it too.
