"Eyes Explore" by S M

Concept statement

I like trees! they're really fun! ...Wait! Don't give me that look, i'm not finished! You can ‘explore’ in so many ways, one of which is with your eyes. You need to visually explore the tree to see the face that is part of the roots. Also, my design is saying that there is more to life than meets the eye (e.g underground) so we need to explore everything in life to the fullest degree to get the maximum benefit!

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I would love to see all of Australia; mmm, beaches. Also perhaps Italy?? Nice and warm, and so much stuff to see. Also Ireland, oh, and a desert island, seeing as later have to be stuck on one :o

Favourite stuff?

*Items* my bed, my blanket, my bike, my coloured pencils and my shoes. *Pastimes* Drawing and designing. Playing hockey, going bike and horse riding, reading good books, laughing (the hahahaa kind, not the muahahahaa kind). *People* My Fam. and Friends. *Food* in order of menu…chicken and corn soup, mum’s lasagna, fruit salad and custard. Then vegemite toast to fill up the corners. *Movies* Princess Bride, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Pride and Prejudice. *Books* any William and the Outlaws books, Asterix (if that counts as a book) and *insert intellectual book here that would make me look smart*

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

See, a desert island! Umm, I would take Aladdin, cause he could wish us off with his genie; David Attenborough, so he could tell me all about the island; and Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem for some entertainment, I just hope they would get on with everyone else

What will you be doing in 10 years?

In 10 years I would like to have a job in which I would be having LOTS of fun!!! For example GRAPHIC DESIGN!!!! Yay for graphic design, its like solving puzzles with pictures!

Why should you win this competition?

because I would really like a t-shirt with this design! I think my design is an interesting and engaging way of conveying the theme of ‘explore’. Also I would really like a lappy so my parents won’t have to continue kicking me off our computer when I’m in the middle of DESIGNING, ARGH!!!!
