Concept statement

"Explore Dreams" is simply about taking the time to find meaning or a purpose in our dreams created by our sub-concious. I have a view on dreams that no matter how horrible they are, amongst the masses of confusion there's always something you can gain from it- perhaps experience, knowledge, or maybe just a bit of a thrill :) I was very pleased with how my ideas for the design had turned out, and I'm glad it was this design that got into the top 10.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

To be honest I would love to go anywhere- but in particular I would love to go to Japan. Japan would be a great place just to experience a completely different culture and lifestyle. On top of all that I love technology, and Japan is well known for their advanced/crazy technologies =)

Favourite stuff?

Item: Computer (yes, im a bit of a nerd =)). Pastime: creating designs/art. Person: My favorite person would be my girlfriend- always has a way of swinging my mood back into a positive when I'm down. Food: KFC- nicely filled with fatty goodness. Movie: Love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Book: Anything short (not a big fan of books). Magazine: Semi-Permanent. Band: H.I.M.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

I would take my girlfriend for sure- as for the other two... perhaps Santa, and Mario. Santa would be great to use for shelter, and he would be able to (in theory) pull some things out of his sack that might become useful. Mario (from Mario Bros.) would be great to fend off Goombas and the almighty Bowser.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Well, I would hope by then I'm either well into the the graphic design business- creating posters, CD covers, websites etc. or have my own clothing label.

Why should you win this competition?

To be honest I deserve to win this as much as the next person and I'm thrilled I made it into the top 10. Plenty of thought has gone into my designs and winning this would be a big step and a confidence builder for when I want to head in a career. Having a t-shirt design printed and sold by Asics around Australia would be too good ! Thanks to MYM, Asics, and SEA for the opportunity.
