Concept statement

In retrospective, the illustration represents our freedom to fly high, to reach our potential and beyond. LIVE FOR TODAY expresses the way we must ‘go’ and take advantage of the freedom we are given today rather then wait for tomorrow… the present is the only thing we can be certain about, tomorrow may never come.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I would go to Germany for the culture and the history. It has been a place that has interested me for a long time now and it would be awesome to experience it.

Favourite stuff?

Playing sports and in particular cricket, hanging out with mates, the snow... music and art; whether playing my guitar or designing something new. Bands: At The Drive- In, Shai Hulud, Raised Fist, Refused, Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Sonic Youth

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Kurt Cobain - music / Eddi Murphey - laughs / Christina Aguilera

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Whatever life throws at me... who knows? Hopefully enjoying my life, traveling, designing and playing music

Why should you win this competition?

I think i should win for my unique and creative approach to the design and concept... the statement 'live for today' is something we should all try and live by, and the design will hopefully encourage people to 'go' and do it. Also it would help my career in graphics design and i would LOVE to win the prizes ofcourse!!!
