Student Exchange Australia and Asics are delighted to announce the winners of the first Make Your Mark creative design competition. First place went to Amelia Birrell of Lower Plenty, Victoria, for her design "Explore". The judging panel - comprised of representatives from Student Exchange Australia, Asics and Amnesia Group - agreed unanimously that "Explore" was a deserving winner and an excellent interpretation of the competition theme "experience is everything" and showed originality, design flair and humour. Amelia wins a $3,500 scholarship toward an exchange program or a laptop and digital camera to the same value.

The runner up was Anne Cobai from Karrinyup in WA and third place went to Jo-Ann Low from Mount Waverly in Victoria. Both Anne and Jo-Ann win an option of work experience with leading design agency, Amnesia, in Sydney and have also been offered a discount if they choose to take up an exchange program with Student Exchange Australia. All the Top 10 finalists receive Asics product packs valued at over $300 and Lonely Planet Handbooks.

Congratulations to Amelia, Anne and Jo-Ann for their success and thanks to everyone who submitted designs and took part in the first MYM comp. MYMII is now on and drawing on the title of Amelia's winning design entrants are asked to take the theme 'Explore' for their inspiration.
