Student Exchange Australia and ASICS are delighted to announce the winners of the latest Make Your Mark creative design competition.

First place goes to Arieh Laverty from QLD for his design "Geisha".

A panel of judges composed of representatives from Student Exchange Australia, ASICS and EK Design chose "Geisha" from the Top Ten designs which had been decided by popular vote by users of the site. The panel commented that Arieh's design is clever and eye-catching. It captures the essence of a significant aspect of traditional Japanese culture, executed with skill. Arieh wins a $3,500 scholarship toward a year exchange program or $2,500 toward a semester exchange program or a laptop computer. He also gets an ASICS product pack jammed with goodies valued at over $300 and a Lonely Planet guide book. ASICS will produce the t-shirt design.

Second place goes to Rhyanne Diaz from NSW for her design "free hugs!". Rhyanne wins $2,000 toward a year exchange program or $1,500 toward a semester exchange program plus an ASICS pack and a Lonely Planet guide book. ASICS will also produce the t-shirt design. The panel commented that "free hugs!" is a fun interpretation of the theme and generated unanimous support by all who commented on the design.

Third place goes to Ling Lee from NSW for his design "Desti. Nation. Japan.". Ling wins $1,500 toward a year exchange program or $1,000 toward a semester exchange program plus an ASICS pack and a Lonely Planet guide book. ASICS will also produce the t-shirt design. The panel agreed that Ling's clever use of colour, language and graphic has beautifully captured the romance of the theme and is a highly deserving design.

Congratulations to Arieh, Rhyanne and Ling for their success and to all the top 10 finalists who will each receive ASICS product packs. Thanks also to everyone who submitted designs and took part in the comp.
