Student Exchange Australia are delighted to announce the winners of the latest Make Your Mark creative design competition.

First place goes to Haifa Nguyen from NSW for her design "Carbon Footprint".

A panel of judges from Student Exchange Australia chose "Carbon Footprint" from the Top Ten designs which had been decided by popular vote by users of the site. The panel commented that Carbon Footprint was an original and creative design which directed a clear message to its audience. Reducing your carbon footprint is a critical way in which we can all help to 'cool the planet' and the panel applauds Haifa for her design. Haifa wins a $3,500 scholarship toward a year exchange program or $2,500 toward a semester exchange program or a laptop computer. She also gets a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 and a Lonely Planet guide book.

Second place goes to Adam Davis from ACT for his design "Do Your Bit #1". Adam wins $2,000 toward a year exchange program or $1,500 toward a semester exchange program, a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 plus a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that Adam's design looked very professional and had proved to be quite popular with the users of the website.

Third place goes to Felise Geolagon from NSW for her design "Cherries". Felise wins $1,500 toward a year exchange program or $1,000 toward a semester exchange program, a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 and a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that "Cherries" was an imaginative and humorous interpretation of the theme and that Felise should be commended for the originality of her design.

Congratulations to Haifa, Adam, and Felise for their success and to the remaining top 9 finalists who will each receive Dick Smith Electronics gift vouchers. Thanks also to everyone who submitted designs and took part in the comp.

The New comp will start on or around Wednesday 29th April 2009.
