Student Exchange Australia and ASICS are delighted to announce the winners of the eighth Make Your Mark creative design competition.

First place went to Henry Chung from VIC for his design "Drive to Walk (Orange)".

A panel of judges comprised of representatives from Student Exchange Australia, ASICS and EK Designs chose "Drive to Walk (Orange)" from the Top Ten designs which had been decided by popular vote by users of the site. The panel agreed unanimously that Henry's design was an "innovative and dynamic winner. Henry has grabbed the 'Walk' theme and applied it with panache."

Henry wins a $3,500 scholarship toward an exchange program or a laptop computer; he also gets an ASICS product pack jammed with goodies valued at over $300 and a Lonely Planet guide book.

Second place winner is Laureese Salib from NSW with her design "A walk in the park". Laureese wins $2,000 towards a Student Exchange Australia program, an ASICS product pack, and a Lonely Planet guide book. The panel commented that Laureese's design "captures the essence of the theme. The designer has used simple shape and line to depict a well balanced and structured design".

Third place went to Dylan McIntyre from NSW with his design "Walk off the job". Dylan wins $1500 towards a Student Exchange Australia program, an ASICS product pack and a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that Dylan's design uses "humour and simplicity to address the theme. The designer has used a fresh concept to suggest walking out of the norm."

Congratulations again to all the top 10 finalists. They will each receive ASICS product packs.

Congratulations to Henry, Laureese and Dylan for their success and thanks to everyone who submitted designs and took part in the eighth MYM comp.
